Designer Information
Rehearsals
Rehearsals will take place at the venue. Please refer to the rehearsal schedule for your slot time.
Should you wish to be at your rehearsal, please be 15 minutes early to ensure that rehearsals start/end on time.
Show
- Shows will take place at the venue.
- Designers need to be backstage at least an hour before their show to do final checks.
- Due to limited space backstage, we request that designers have no more than 1 assistant.
- We have an amazing backstage team who will be dressing the models and assisting you.
- We can’t wait to see the collection!!!
Garment Drop-off on Show Day
- Garments need to be dropped off in the backstage prep areas at the venue.
- Garments need to be steamed, on hangers with model tags when delivered. Please ensure that your accessories and shoes are also delivered.
- Drop-off is no later than 2 hours before show time.
- Dedicated backstage assistants are available to assist. Ask if you need any help!!
- Please ensure that between fittings and drop-off, all PRODUCTION HANGER TAGS remain with the garments, as this could delay your show while we try and locate missing pieces.
Accreditation
Everyone will receive accreditation on arrival during fittings; this needs to be on at all times.
Designers will receive 1 designer pass and 1 assistant pass, which will allow access into the backstage area.
Timelines
A checklist of items such as a high-resolution logo, music, and visuals for production need to be submitted by given confirmed dates.
Fittings
- Please ensure that you are present and ready for your fitting no later than 30 minutes before your allocated fitting time. This ensures that our assistants and producer will be able to hang and tag your collection ready for the fitting.
- Proper fittings ensure that your clothes look great on the catwalk, and we have allocated ample time to accommodate all fittings.
- All your models will be present for you to fit, and your producer will create the necessary rail, running orders, and ensure that your looks are correctly fitted and ready for your show.
- Please note that all accessories, shoes, and garments for your show have to be present.
- Make sure your garments are show-ready and finished for the fittings.
Model Pools
- Models will be cast and allocated for your show slot.
- You will be sent their Z-cards with their sizing info.
- Every effort will be made by producers to ensure that the final model selection works for each designer’s showcase.
- Designers may only use the models allocated to their show slot and not from other pools.
